Calling all artists! We are thrilled to invite submissions for our upcoming Mixed Media Madness Art Exhibition, celebrating creativity and the fusion of diverse artistic mediums. This is an open call to artists of all backgrounds and levels of experience to showcase their innovative works that push the boundaries of traditional art forms. Whether you combine painting with digital media, sculpture with sound, or any other imaginative blend, we want to see your unique vision.

Artists will have the opportunity to exhibit their work at Corbin Studio & Gallery located in Crisfield, MD. A reception for the exhibition will allow for them to engage with fellow creatives, and gain exposure to a wide audience. Submit your application with a brief artist statement detailing your approach to mixed media by March 1st. We can't wait to see how you redefine art through your distinct perspective!

Spring Art Exhibit Opening Reception

Gallery 413 will reopen its doors after a winter break with its Spring Art Show. Go to crisfieldartssyndicate.org for more information on how to submit art for this show. After the reception, the Lower Shore Performing Arts Company will offer a performance of The Altos. Exhibiting artists will receive $5 off the ticket price.

Oyster Can Planters

Please join us at the Corbin Studio & Gallery on Friday, March 21st from 5:30pm-7:30pm for a preview of the Oyster Can Planters before they are moved to their final location within the Crisfield Arts and Entertainment District. Assortment of Oyster foods and Smith Island Cake will be served.

A celebration of local art and the unique heritage of Crisfield and the Eastern Shore through hand painted oyster can planters. The seven community planters will be placed throughout the Arts and Entertainment District. The painted planters will be filled with beautiful Artic Fire Red Twig Dogwoods which are indigenous to this area. The dogwood trees will be surrounded by wild strawberry plants.
